JAY FAERBER

Born in northeastern Pennsylvania in 1972, Jay is the creator and writer of Image Comics' long-running series, NOBLE CAUSES.

He started writing comic books at Marvel and DC, where he worked on series such as THE TITANS, NEW WARRIORS, and GENERATION X.

In 2001, he launched his first creator-owned series, NOBLE CAUSES, which garnered much critical acclaim.

Jay has since carved a niche for himself as a creator of independent comic books such as DODGE'S BULLETS, FIREBIRDS, VENTURE, and DYNAMO 5. Faerber currently writes the series NOBLE CAUSES and DYNAMO 5, as well as the upcoming Image mini-series, GEMINI.

He lives in Gig Harbor, WA.




YILDIRAY CINAR

Cinar was born in born 1976 in Ankara, Turkey and finished Fine Arts and Graphics department of Anadolu University located in Eskisehir in 1994 and studied in Cartoon animation up until 2000 at the same University. Although he worked in the field of animation for commercial films, his real creative interest was on comic book creation.

He helped create a photocopy-fanzine publishing group called Capa Comics group in 1997, to which he has continued to contribute on occassion. Capa Comics group has established links with several bigger publishers today and both Yildiray and his colleagues have published their work in national magazines.

His important creations from this time include Surgun, Maskeli, Karabasan and Iman Limited.

Though located in Istanbul, Cinar started producing for the American comic book market through Image Comics. He illustrated a short story for Savage Dragon which was published in issue #126 and has since reached wider recognition when he started working regularly on an acclaimed Noble Causes. He began penciling the series with issue #27.
